AMC may use personal information to inform individuals of other AMC & Gillespie Group entities products/services which AMC feels maybe of some interest/benefit to the individual. Safekeeping of personal information AMC takes reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate, complete and up-to-date whenever information is collected or used. If individual’s find that the current personal information (Learner Information) that AMC holds is inaccurate, the individual may approach AMC and the information will be amended. AMC protects personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. Personal information may be stored in either electronic data or hard copy documents. Only AMC authorised users may access personal information and only for approved purposes. All AMC employees are aware of their obligations under the Privacy Act legislation. All AMC employees sign ‘Confidentiality Agreements’ as part of their employment contract as a condition of employment. Accessing your Learner Information All participants can access (under supervision) their own personal information. The participant may approach the Training Co-ordinator and log their request to access the file upon the Learner Access Sheet. A request can only be authorised by the Manager. If any amendments or alterations arise from any issues that occur from this access they must be documented in our Complaints and Appeals Report which will be completed in conjunction with the Training Co-ordinator. Termination of Access Access to our web site may be terminated at any time by us without notice. Our disclaimer will nevertheless survive any such termination. Concerns and information regarding AMC privacy If you believe that your personal information has been compromised in any way, please contact the AMC Privacy Officer, who will be your first point of contact should a privacy issue arise. Our Privacy Officer will investigate your complaint in complete confidence and make a formal response to you. If you are dissatisfied with our internal complaint process the complaint will be passed onto the Privacy Commissioner.
