As in past years, we again welcomed our great line up of subject matter experts to present on the latest issues:
  • The ATO will update you on a number of matters impacting your role including Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP 2), what is different for this end of financial year, followed by our Xero experts showing where to the product up to and how to prepare for this change.
  • Considered one of the best speakers in the finance sector and known for his ability to clearly explain economic issues and trends, you may recognise Martin Lakos from his TV appearances on SBS or other news channels. We are delighted to welcome Martin as a speaker this year to discuss ‘Expert insights in a changing world” – What could possibly go wrong?
  • Pam Chilman, Trainer, AMC Training Centre, longstanding Xero Accredited Trainer and Partner and her team, will present on the important (and ever changing) software related features to compliment the content from the guest presenters. Pam will provide an update on changes for this years processes associated with the end of a financial year.
  • Our Technology Specialist will outline features and enhancements to secure your data and minimise risk of fraud.
  • Presenters will educate you on how legislative changes impact your use of Xero, step you through key topics and provide you with an update on your Xero product new and upcoming features. 
  • We will show you how to carry out the required EOY preparation tasks, including the annual reconciliation of payroll and this years ‘finalisation’ processes, plus much more as we present changes that might have slipped past your radar.

Unless your accountant is also working for you as your bookkeeper and payroll officer, you will be required to follow some defined end of year procedures before confirming your financial year is complete and ready for the tax work to be carried out. Bookkeepers Networking Session - ICB

Held quarterly - Second Tuesday of the month: 
Our popular networking sessions are held at our AMC Training Centre in Phillip, on the second Tuesday of month each quarter. Run in conjunction with ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) they are informal update sessions for all bookkeepers. We encourage anyone working in the finance sector to attend. If you are interested in attending just let us know so we can send you an email specific to these sessions prior to the event to remind you. 

In 2022 meetings continue to be scheduled from 6pm to approximately 7:15pm

Topics: Vary each meeting, but always includes an update on the latest issues affecting bookkeeping and finance.
