Keeping up to date in finance as well as with your use of Xero is becoming ever more important and ever more difficult with constant changes! You cannot afford to miss these important sessions updating you not only on end of financial and payroll year processes but also critical reporting and employer obligations.
These important update sessions provide information on not only key product updates changes, but a ‘refresh’ on end of financial and payroll year processes, along with critical reporting and employer obligations outlined by the Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work Australia. This event is more than just end of year payroll, it is also an update on what is happening in the profession to ensure you keep up to date and maintain your CPD (continuing professional development) hours.  
This year we are delivering our 'Financial Year Update Seminar' as an Online session to ensure we can continue to deliver lots of useful content, bring in subject matter experts online including specialist presenters, all from the convenience of your computer.
As in past years, we again welcome our great line up of subject matter experts to present on the latest issues:

  • Pam Chilman, Trainer, AMC Training Centre, longstanding Xero Training Partner and Consultant to present on the important (and ever changing) software updates features to compliment the content from the guest presenters, as well as show how to introduce and make use of great new features, just released!
Presenters will educate you on how legislative changes impact your role, step you through the fundamentals and provide you with the inside edge on all the critical issues, along with an update on Xero’s new features and upcoming changes.  
We will show you how to carry out the required EOY preparation tasks, including the annual reconciliation of payroll and updated ‘finalisation’ processes, plus much more as we present compliance changes that might have slipped past your radar.

Don't assume by using bank feeds, all financial aspects are taken care of. Unless your accountant is also working for you as your bookkeeper and payroll officer, you will be required to follow some defined end of year procedures before confirming your financial year is complete and ready for the tax work to be carried out. Learn how to carry out these steps with easy to understand information, or if already carrying out the EOY processes.
