The skills and knowledge acquired in this course are sufficient to be able to effectively use and operate Reckon (Formerly Quickbooks) software to setup the chart of accounts for a small business, produce and process invoices, purchase orders, reconcile bank accounts and produce a range of reports. Upon successful completion of Reckon (formerly Quickbooks) Processing course you will have been taught how to:
- use basic QuickBooks navigation techniques
- manage thethe QuickBooks setup process
- income and expense accounts
- create inventory and service items
- create and edit customer and supplier details
- enter cash sales and create invoices
- receive and apply customer payments
- record the purchase of goods and services & pay suppliers accounts
- reconcile Reckon with various bank statements
- create and modify reports
- understand how Reckon tracks GST and setup and complete a Business Activity Statement

2. Reckon (Formerly Quickbooks) Payroll
The skills and knowledge acquired in this course are sufficient to be able to use and operate Reckon software to setup payroll items, employee details, employee remuneration details, process pays and produce the necessary reports to meet ATO obligations. Upon successful completion of Reckon (Formerly Quickbooks) Payroll course you will have been taught how to:
- process and manage your payroll
- set up employees
- conduct a pay run
- access payroll information
- complete payroll end of month processes
- implement salary sacrifice processes
Designed for those keen to understand and use the Payroll features to process and manage payroll.
Using the latest version of Reckon and held at our state of the art Training Centre in Phillip, ACT our courses are suited to all levels of users wanting to learn the product or bookkeepers keen to have a better understanding and make full use of Reckon features.
It would be be beneficial to have a general understanding of personal computers and the Windows operating system environment and the basic bookkeeping principles for a small business.
