AMC were pleased to host the recent MYOB Partner Briefing held in ACT on Friday 9th March.
Staff from MYOB were in town to discuss the product release timeline of their SQL version, with MYOB Partners. This update is MYOB's most significant upgrade since the introduction of GST! The product, called Version 2011 has only had limited release at this stage, available only to some AccountRight Standard and AccountRight Plus users, with many users recommended to delay upgrading due to known speed issues reported.
Service Pack (4) just released, addresses issues with Speed & Performance, Forms Designer, and provides enhancements to the Library feature. So if you have upgraded to Version 2011 ensure you have loaded SP4.
Compliance updates will be made available for both V19 users as well as the new Version 2011 products in June. This was an important decision made by MYOB to ensure that all users can comfortably stay on V19 without disadvantage.
NOTE: Upcoming Compliance updates (end June) will not only have updated Tax Scales, as expected each year, but also that there may be additional Superannuation reporting obligations (groan!) as well as the Building Contractor Reporting obligations being proposed for those in the building industry, to be introduced from 1st July 2012!
AccountRight Basic, Standard and Plus - have either V19 or Version 2011 available to them, but fine to stay on V19
AccountRight Standard and Plus users - Cloud version due for release around August/September 2012,
AccountRight Premier and Enterprise....watch this space, and stay tuned in to our email updates.
