AMC reaches new heights with Fortune 500 Company 10 March 2015 QuickBooks Online AMC Training Centre reaches new heights with Fortune 500 Company, working with world’s leading online cloud accounting financial management solution. ACT’s AMC Training Centre has been appointed Australia’s first Intuit QuickBooks Online Training Centre, and only the second in the world. QuickBooks Online is the world’s leading cloud accounting solution for small businesses and their trusted financial advisors. Under the deal, AMC, which has been supporting businesses with key accounting systems since 1992, will offer local hands-on QuickBooks Online certification courses for bookkeepers and accountants, and training courses for end-users across the whole gamut of industry sectors, from retail, hospitality and trades to healthcare and professional services, allowing them to get started quickly and continue on the right track. Online learning programs currently under development will also cost-effectively support users around Australia. AMC’s Pam Chilman said the new initiative is part of the company’s commitment to deliver the best offerings to its clients. “QuickBooks Online is a delightfully simple-to-use product that takes technology to the next level with some slick mobile devices and features, providing easy access for businesses and their accountants and/or bookkeeper,” Ms Chilman said. “It’s a great to time to be in business, with technology allowing so many of the bookkeeping tasks to be automated and simplified. I just love how QuickBooks Online can help a business fulfil its record keeping obligations and substantially increase efficiencies to track its business position, at highly competitive rates that are very affordable even to the smallest operation,” she said. “Who would have thought you would be able to connect with major agencies such as your bank, superannuation funds, suppliers, and a range of Government agencies, all from within your accounting software and all in a matter of seconds with data pre-filled and payments automated.” Ms Chilman said that with the Minister for Small Business, Bruce Billson’s announcement in December of the proposed introduction of ‘Single Touch Payroll’ from July 2016, it is important for businesses to get systems in place early to easily manage the required reporting and AMC can help them do this. “AMC is excited to add QuickBooks Online to our suite of offerings and can independently discuss the options most suited to a business, and how to reduce routine data entry,” she said.
